What is it and what does it have to do with caribou?

Perhaps the best way to answer that question is with another question, like, how DO you create a totem pole? Well, you carve away everything that isn't totem until you're left with nothing but pole.

Likewise, when it comes to creating a personal website - you take a big slab of Internetiuum® and carve away everything that isn't a website. Of course, it helps to have that special artistic vision-thingy that allows you to see the one thing hidden inside the other thing. Sort of like finding Waldo, but without the helpful red and white stripes.

Anyway, as Colonel John 'Hannibal' Smith used to say, "I love it when a plan comes together!"

Of course for that to work, you have to actually have a plan - which I've never actually had. Not as such. That's because pretty much everything in life holds some level of interest for me - shiny baubles of knowledge, colorful graphics, bright bits of music and sounds - all these things fascinate and distract me.

So rather than following a planned path towards a specific goal, my life has been more of a migration in a non-specific, but generally interesting direction. I'm not quite sure exactly where I'm going, and I'm definitely not sure how long it will take to get there (Caribou are masters of space but definitely not of time), but I'm convinced the path to getting there will be worth the trip.

That really didn't answer the original question, did it? Maybe, I should heed the advice of the icosahedron in my Magic 8-Ball® which just told me "Answer unclear, ask again later"!
